Once in the app, tap Settings → tap Phone Setup → tap Manage under the appropriate line → tap Change Phone. If your old device had a physical SIM card, remove it and insert it into your new phone.

Choose a new phone number from the list of available numbers the representative provides to you. In some cases available numbers could be low, so choosing your own number is not possible. Boost will automatically choose the new number for you if this is the case in your area. Boost will assess a $5 fee each time your phone number is changed.

To switch to a new cell phone provider and keep your number: Contact your current carrier to unlock your phone. Choose a new phone plan. Select a new phone or bring your own device to the network. Provide your current account information to your new carrier so they can port your number.
