A fire in Acushnet,​ Massachusetts early on Christmas morning killed a man and woman in their 80s and injured a firefighter.

ACUSHNET, Mass. (WPRI) — A fire at a multi-family home in Acushnet claimed the lives of two people early Christmas morning. Crews responding to Garfield Street just before 2 a.m. found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home, and learned three people were unaccounted for.
