Jordan Poole's 3-pointer with 8.1 seconds remaining lifted the Washington Wizards to a 113-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday night. In a matchup of two of the league's worst teams, the Wizards (5-23) beat Charlotte (7-23) for the second straight week.

Poole hit the deck as he was falling backward, but that shot was true right from the start. The Hornets were lucky that there wasn't a foul on Josh Green and a four-point play. That shot put the Wizards up 112-110, and it was effectively the game-winner as Brandon Miller missed a three-pointer on the other end.
