According to a well-known Assassin's Creed insider, a new 16-player Assassin's Creed multiplayer game is in the works and releasing next year. The new rumor comes the way of French YouTuber j0nathan, a source that has proven reliable with many Assassin's Creed leaks in the past.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set in feudal Japan, will be released on November 15, 2024. The game will be available on multiple platforms with three different editions. It features two protagonists, Yasuke and Naoe and offers different playstyles and story perspectives.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows follows dual protagonists Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke through Japan’s war-torn late Sengoku period. Much like previous AC games, the story walks the line between historical accuracy and wild fiction where you fight godlike beings.
