The victim, Sri Tej was injured in a stampede outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. The incident also took the life of Sri Tej's 35-year-old mother.

The police, in a post on 'X,' clarified that some individuals had shared videos falsely claiming the stampede occurred before Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre.

Pushpa 2 stampede case: "Legal action will be taken against those who spread misinformation, especially while the case is still under investigation," said Hyderabad Police.
