As it was in so many other aspects of this game, the Falcons were excellent in the first half and dreadful after that. Baylor, which has been running the ball on nearly two thirds of its plays this year, ran eight times for 14 yards in the first half. In the second half they ran for 216 yards and three touchdowns.
