The episode closed out with a standoff between Giulia and Perez.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting creative plans for Giulia since her signing back in April, when she appeared in the crowd during NXT Stand and Deliver. According to reports, WWE urged Giulia to get wrist surgery around the time of her signing.

CM Punk comes to WWE NXT. Punk appeared on the September 17th episode of NXT to make a big announcement, but before he could, he was interrupted by Roxanne Perez. Perez said that she was always a bigger fan of Punk's wife AJ Lee, and that she realized she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan.

Giulia made a strong WWE debut by defeating Chelsea Green, a main roster star. Hall of Famer Bully Ray acknowledged her talent but highlighted areas needing improvement, such as facial expressions and ring transitions.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray noted that nearly everything about Giulia's presentation during her debut match was good. However, he noted that she lacked facial express
