An Indiana County teenager is facing attempted homicide charges after what state police say was a fight with her mother.

An Indiana County teen has been charged with attempted homicide after state police said she stabbed her mother several times during an argument. The unidentified teen was arrested Saturday after police were called to a home in Center Township for a report of a domestic dispute, according to WJAC and WTAJ.

A preliminary investigation found that a 14-year-old girl was involved in a domestic altercation with the victim, who was later said to be her mother. During the altercation, police say the 14-year-old had stabbed her mother multiple times. The girl was taken into custody and has been charged with criminal attempt of homicide.
