It is CU’s 14th NCAA Tournament selection overall and the eighth in 13 seasons under head coach Danny Sanchez.

Michigan State did not enter the season inside the AP Top 25 but both Sparty and KU enter the evening with a 2-0 record having won two games on their respective home courts. The neutral site should be a nice change of scenery and serve as another measuring stick for Kansas as well as unranked -- and perhaps underrated -- Michigan State.
