Department of Agriculture officials joined Santa Claus and his team of reindeer at Hersheypark today to announce that the reindeer received a clean bill of health to make special deliveries across Pennsylvania for Christmas.

Santa Claus' team of nine reindeer has been cleared to make deliveries to children across Pennsylvania on Christmas Eve. The state Department of Agriculture announced Monday at Hersheypark that Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph received a clean bill of health.

Veterinarians declared all nine reindeer healthy to fly from rooftop to rooftop, as they deliver presents. It is especially surprising that one of the first federal agencies to come under scrutiny from the incoming administration is one that has returned billions of dollars to many of the same consumers who were counting on leaders in Washington to look out for their wallets.
