Bhagyashree made her debut with Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s much loved film Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989. In a recent interview, Bhagyashree recalled that she and Salman developed a strong friendship while shooting which got strengthened even further after Salman got to know about her love story with Himalaya Dasani.

Maine Pyar Kiya, starring Salman Khan, bhagyashree, Alok Nath, Reema Lagoo, Laxmikant Berde and others cmpleted 35 years recently. This was the first collaboration between Salman and filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya.
