Popular Indian actor Allu Arjun was arrested from his residence following an incident at a theatre where his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was playing. Shortly after the arrest, he was granted four-week interim bail.

Actor Allu Arjun and makers of the film 'Pushpa' on Wednesday announced financial assistance of Rs 2 crore for the family of the woman who died in a stampede during the film's screening at a theatre here on December 4.

Indian superstar Allu Arjun was taken into custody by Hyderabad police on Friday in connection with a stampede that claimed the life of a woman.

The December 4 Sandhya Theatre stampede, in which a woman died, has kept Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun mired in controversy, with his brief arrest on December 13, vandalism at his Jubilee Hills residence on Sunday.
