The Atlanta Falcons received an early Christmas gift from the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening. After defeating the New York Giants, 34-7, the Falcons got to sit back and watch as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were upset by the Cowboys in prime time.

Dak Prescott is the quarterback of the near future for the Dallas Cowboys. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones will have to decide soon whether he feels the same about coach Mike McCarthy. Cooper Rush is making a good case to stay as Prescott's backup.

Despite being eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly sticking with Cooper Rush over Trey Lance as their starter. Dallas even started Rush Sunday night knowing they couldn't do anything to make the playoffs.
