Ottawa Police are investigating the homicide of a 46-year-old woman who died in Hintonburg on Christmas Day. Police said Jolene Arreak died at 6:10 p.m. on Spadina Avenue. Another victim survived the attack and was treated in hospital before being released, according to police.

An investigation is underway into the homicide of an adult female that occurred on Dec. 25. Police were called to the scene at the 1 to 100 block of Spadina Ave. just after 6 p.m. The victim ahs been identified as 46-year-old Jolene Arreak of Ottawa.

The Ottawa Police Service says the victim who has been killed on Christmas Day in Hintonburg has been identified.
